If you're planning to visit us, have students make name tags using the designs provided. Include the child’s name and the name of the school. This will enable us to have personal contact with the students. We suggest using string, yarn or ribbon to allow name tags to be worn around the neck. Please do not use pins or clips as they could be dangerous to both the students and our animals (should they drop in the exhibits). Older students may use name stickers. We suggest using permanent ink in the event that name tags get wet. Review the information provided in this packet with your class as you see fit, using appropriate age and grade level modifications. Please review the enclosed vocabulary prior to your tour, so that students can understand the terminology used by our staff on their visit.
